Question: What happened to live email accounts?

Windows Live Mail is a desktop email program Microsoft introduced to replace Outlook Express. However, Microsoft is moving all its own email services – Office 365, Hotmail, Live Mail, MSN Mail, Outlook.com etc – to a single codebase at Outlook.com.

What email ends with live com?

Live.com may refer to: live.com, a URL used by Microsoft for their Outlook.com and OneDrive products. Windows Live, a discontinued brand name for a set of services and software products from Microsoft.

Can you still get a live com email address?

Microsoft phased out the live domain after the release of Windows 8 to its manufacturers. Therefore, you can no longer create live.com email addresses. As a replacement, Microsoft now has @Outlook and @Hotmail emails to facilitate its users.

Do live emails still exist?

A: Windows Live Mail is no longer supported by Microsoft and no longer available to download. If you still have this on your PC, it may be possible to get it working again. But if you need to reinstall it, you may not have much luck finding a copy to download.
